VYLD is a young startup that aims to empower women with tampons made from algae. These tampons dissolve in nature within a few days to weeks. The target group of VVYLD should therefore be outdoor lovers – especially ocean lovers.

Just as the seaweed is created from sunlight, the photographic illustration of the packaging is also created from sunlight: Seaweed was placed on UV-sensitive paper and exposed to sun, which, through the photographic technique of cyanotype, leaves an imprint of the seaweed and gives the paper the typical blue color of cyanotype.

This way, the packaging tells the narrative of the origin of the product, the seaweed, which grows under (blue) water and in the sunlight.
